It's roomy, there's plenty of parking outside, and the ordering happens at the counter, so you're not waiting on a table to be noticed — handy when someone needs feeding immediately. High chairs, buggy access, a kids' menu and outdoor seating are all sorted, and the staff have a reputation for being genuinely unbothered by fuss. Portions are enormous, the gluten-free cooking is properly understood rather than an afterthought, and the cake and pie counter is a real event. People rave about the full highland breakfast, the coffee, the beer-battered haddock and the sweet chilli chicken loaded fries. Fair warning: it gets very busy, and a few have found some dishes bland — stick to what it's known for.
