The seating area is comfortable, with benches and music kept at a sensible volume rather than blaring, and food comes out fast, which matters when someone's patience has run out. There's a kids' menu and high chairs, and staff are warm with families, happy to fetch whatever sauces you need. The fish is tender under a properly crunchy batter, portions are generous for the money, and the photo wall gives little ones something to look at. Two caveats: the novelty deep-fried puddings are pricier than you'd expect, and at weekends a DJ plays late, so come earlier in the day. One parent found it "cozy" on a rainy afternoon.
