Café · Cirencester
A relaxed stop in the middle of Cirencester that works whether you're wrangling a buggy or a bored six-year-old — there's decent room inside and out, so you're not squeezing past tables with a pram, and free parking takes one stress out of the trip. Food comes quickly, which matters when someone's hit the wall: think cheese and ham croissants, salmon and cream cheese bagels, a properly hot Spanish chicken and chorizo noodle soup in winter, and a quiche of the day people go back for. The home-baked cakes are generous and the sausage rolls have a following. Staff are warm with children — one family were brought a candle unprompted when the girls got jittery about wasps. Shaded outdoor tables help in summer. Kids' menu, high chairs and vegan options are all there. The coffee can be hit and miss.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
