Gōst Bar & Restaurant
Smart Glasgow steakhouse with halal sirloin and ribeye, a kids' menu and high chairs — calm at Sunday lunch, pricier than everyday.

Café · Glasgow
Small, unassuming and right in the middle of Glasgow, this is the kind of café where staff notice a family coming through the door and make room. Buggy access and high chairs are sorted, there's a kids' menu, and outdoor seating if your two are loud. Breakfast is the thing to come for — proper fresh-ground coffee, simple plates done well, and Italian sandwiches with a long list of fillings. The pesto pasta and the honey chilli chicken panini get mentioned again and again, and the hot chocolate has a following. Prices are gentle for the city centre: around £6.90 for a latte and a panini. It's genuinely busy at peak lunchtime and choice thins out then, so aim slightly early or late. Vegan options available. One parent found the pasta a touch under-seasoned.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
