Brunch is the reason to come here, and it's worth booking a table before you turn up with children in tow — mid-morning on a weekday it can still be twenty minutes for a seat. The room is clean and simple, relaxed enough that nobody rushes you, but it's on the small side with tables close together, so it gets noisy when it's full and pram-parking takes a bit of shuffling. High chairs, a kids' menu and free parking take the edge off that. Food comes out fresh and generous — the Meopham brunch, the corn fritters and the slow-cooked pork belly all get raved about, and the smoothies and fresh juices are worth the detour. Service can slow at peak times, though the staff stay friendly and attentive through it. Outdoor seating and vegan options too.
