Relaxed Rockwell Green Italian with stone-baked pizzas, a kids' menu and free parking — quieter at lunch, busier at weekends.

Cafés · Wellington
Tucked away on a Wellington side street among a row of small shops, this little café has built a reputation locally that holds up — hospital staff nearby send people here, and it's usually busy. Buggy access and free parking take the stress out of arriving, and there are high chairs and a kids' menu once you're in. The room is small and warm rather than roomy, so expect a friendly squeeze at lunchtime. Food comes out quickly, which matters with a hungry toddler: jacket potatoes, chicken curry, breakfast baps and the full English all get praise, portions are generous and prices low. Cakes on the counter are hard to walk past. One parent arrived with a picky child and left saying they'd stop again. Fair warning — the fried breakfast divides opinion, and it does get packed.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
