Indian · Salisbury
Tucked in the centre of Salisbury, this one hides a surprise round the back — you walk through a smaller front room into a glass atrium and garden room that feels genuinely peaceful, and there's outdoor seating too. It's a compact place, so it's worth booking and worth knowing that parking means hunting for a street space nearby rather than pulling up outside. Food comes out quickly, which matters when someone's hit the wall, and the menu leans short but distinctive: butter chicken, tandoori platters, samosa chaat, ragda patties, cracking naans and sides. High chairs, a kids' menu and buggy access are all sorted, and the owners are unusually good with awkward dietary requests — one vegan parent was talked through the whole menu and had their food cooked specially. Gets busy on Saturday nights.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
