Cafés · Wrexham
Right in the heart of Wrexham, just outside the gates of St Giles Church, this is the sort of old-fashioned café that's been feeding the same families for decades — some people have been coming 25 years. The setting alone is worth it, with the church looming in front of you and a warm, chatty room inside rather than the soulless minimalism of the newer coffee shops nearby. Portions are generous and prices genuinely low, which matters when you're feeding several people: the bacon and brie panini and the coronation chicken sandwich both get raved about, breakfasts are hearty, and the cakes are mostly homemade and cut in big comforting slices. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and room to get a buggy in, plus outdoor seating. Staff are bubbly and attentive, and the dog gets a water bowl too. It's small, so it fills up.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
