The crab and lobster rolls draw the most praise, along with sweet crayfish, big whelks (they'll cut them up if asked) and marinated octopus. Service is quick and the owners are friendly. One genuine warning, delivered cheerfully by the team as "watch out for the pirates": Brighton's seagulls are bold enough to dive at a pot of cockles, so guard small hands and plates.
