About Boo

A burger stop that works better than most fast food places when you've got the pram and a hungry toddler in tow — there's buggy access, high chairs and a kids' menu, plus outdoor seating and window seats with a decent view over Nottingham. Food generally comes out fast and freshly made, which matters when someone's melting down, and the team are noted for being friendly and patient. Portions are big: one family of three couldn't finish the fries between them. The Big Boo and the spicy chicken burger get the most love, and the wings are a genuine draw. It can be pricier than it looks for what arrives, and the odd visit falls flat on flavour or waiting time, so go when you're not in a rush. Otherwise it's clean, calm and comfortable — one parent found it "beautiful, clean, and quiet".
