Cafés · Stoke-on-Trent
Tucked on the edge of a park in what was once a farm and riding school, this spot has plenty of seating inside and out, so there's room to park a pram and let children be children without feeling hemmed in. Breakfasts get the most love — the mini fry-up served properly hot, stacked pancakes with fruit, and homemade cakes that people take home in boxes. Portions are generous and staff are consistently kind, seating people quickly. Two honest notes: prices run higher than you'd expect for a café, and the hot kitchen stops around 3pm, so arrive earlier if you've got hungry children in tow. The site is a bit weathered around the edges. Free parking, high chairs, a kids' menu and vegan options are all there, and dogs are welcome too.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
