Tucked away on a High Peak hillside, this converted bus and its little café building look out over rolling green hills — worth the hunt to find it. Indoors is genuinely small, maybe five or six tables plus a comfy sofa at the front of the bus, so book ahead if you're bringing a pram and need room to park it; there's outdoor seating and free parking, plus high chairs and a kids' menu. The weekly-changing food punches well above its size: loaded surf and turf fries, a piri piri wrap with tempeh, bacon barms piled high, and cake slices big enough for two to share. Vegan choices are clearly marked, right down to the sauces and a dark hot chocolate. It isn't cheap — lunch for one can hit £18 — but portions and quality back it up. Quiet, generous, and staff who are lovely with visitors.
