A small place with a big personality — think 50s/60s Americana, chrome-and-neon cheer, and a menu of smash burgers, pizzas, pastas and milkshakes thick enough to count as pudding. It's genuinely little inside, so at busy times the side seating can feel packed in close, and food has been known to take a while once you've ordered; go early or on a quieter weekday and it's a much calmer affair. The team are the real draw: warm, cheerful and unfazed by special requests. Sunday brunch with pancakes and hash browns is a favourite, portions are generous, and the midweek two courses for £14 with refillable soft drinks is good value. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access, vegan options and a little outdoor seating area for sunny days. One parent drove 90 minutes and called it "worth every minute".
