Cafés · Sale
A pottery-painting café where the pieces themselves are the point, and children get properly absorbed in it — one parent describes a toddler happily painting a mug for hours, then being made a fuss of by the staff at collection. Bookings run two hours, which visitors say is plenty of time to paint, eat and sit for a bit, and there's no separate studio fee, just the cost of the item (roughly £10–25 for most). Space is manageable with a pram — one family with newborn twins were given a table with room for a double buggy — and there are high chairs, a kids' menu, outdoor seating and vegan options. Smoothies, bagels and the matcha get particular praise. Worth booking, and maybe don't order anything messy mid-paint.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
