It's a proper sit-down treat rather than a quick pit stop, so booking ahead is sensible, especially at weekends; the carriages fill and there's no car park, just free roadside parking a short walk away. Food comes out fast even when it's busy, portions are generous enough that people leave with boxes, and the staff are warm with families.
