Free, easy parking outside and level access make the arrival bit painless, and there are high chairs and a kids' menu once you're in. The food is honest and generous: jacket potatoes that come out huge and properly baked with tons of filling, big breakfasts, omelettes, pies, cream teas, and daily specials like stew and dumplings on a Monday. Coffee gets particular praise, and everything arrives piping hot and cheap. The staff are warm and attentive with families — one parent says it's "all cooked and served with love". Fair warning: it's a shop café, so browsing the caravan gear afterwards is half the fun.
