Pret A Manger
Counter-serve Pret in Glasgow with ready-made sandwiches, soups and coffee, plus high chairs for little ones.

Mexican · Glasgow
A quick lunch stop just off Queen Street that works surprisingly well with children in tow — you order along a counter, choose your fillings, and the food arrives fast, which matters when someone's patience has run out. Staff are consistently patient with first-timers and happy to explain the whole process, toppings and salsas included, and they'll bring trays and cutlery over if you're eating in. Portions are genuinely filling, so smaller appetites can share; the garlic rice, loaded mexi fries and churros all come in for particular praise. Vegan and veggie options are solid, there's a kids' menu and high chairs, and the place stays notably clean. It's counter-service rather than somewhere to linger, and it can get busy at peak lunchtime — but one regular calls the staff here "the kindest ever", and that shows.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
