The Italian Club
Liverpool Italian with a kids' menu, high chairs, step-free access and outdoor seating — lively, and worth booking ahead.

Brunch · Liverpool
Right in the middle of Bold Street, this is a brunch spot that manages to feel special without being precious about kids — there's a kids' menu, high chairs, and separate halal and gluten-free menus, which takes a lot of the guesswork out. Portions are generous and prices are fair for the city centre. The pancakes are the draw (fluffy, well-drenched in syrup), along with the shakshuka, the steak sandwich and the parmesan fries. Worth knowing: pancakes can carry a long wait even shortly after opening, so order them first or pick something else if anyone's flagging — other dishes arrive quickly. It's lively rather than quiet, and the staff are consistently warm, making a fuss of birthdays. Outdoor seating helps if you've got a pram. Booking is a good idea.
