Casa Brasil Southampton
Brazilian all-you-can-eat with a red-and-green card controlling the meat, a big salad bar, help-yourself desserts and paid parking behind.

Italian · Southampton
Handy to know before you go: the food here leans a little pricier than you might expect, and the portions aren't enormous — but the cooking is genuinely good, and the arancini and focaccia get raved about as some of the finest people have eaten. Sunday roast comes out on a wooden sharing platter with a pot of gravy each, which children find quite entertaining. Buggy access is straightforward, there are high chairs and a kids' menu, and outdoor seating helps if you'd rather not sit among the buzz — because it does get busy and loud, especially at weekends when there's live music. Service is the standout: lots of staff on shift, food arrives quickly, and the team go out of their way to look after you. Booking is wise; families turning up on spec have got lucky, but only just.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
