Café Andaluz
Glasgow tapas spot with a kids' menu, high chairs and vegan options — an easy choice for a family meal out.

French · Glasgow
A proper French brasserie that manages to be genuinely comfortable rather than stiff — the seats are good, there's real space between tables, and the room hums pleasantly rather than roaring, so a pram and a fidgety child won't feel like an imposition. Front of house are consistently warm, there's a kids' menu and high chairs, and outdoor seating for when someone needs air. The French onion soup is a standout, served with the cheese-topped crouton separately so the soup stays clean; the scallops, butter-poached cod, lamb and hispi cabbage all draw praise, and the crème brûlée and lemon bavarois are worth staying for. It's not cheap and the kitchen can be uneven — the odd over-seasoned or overcooked plate turns up — but on a good day one couple called it "unforgettable". Worth booking.
