It's cosy rather than sprawling, so a pram takes some manoeuvring, but there's outdoor seating, high chairs, a kids' menu and vegan options. Food arrives fast — lunch for two came out quickly and cost around £30 — which matters when someone's patience is thin. The Napoletana and pesto pizzas get the loudest praise, with one Italian visitor relieved to find pizza made the traditional way, no unnecessary extras. Pastas are strong too: seafood paccheri, pappardelle bolognese, ravioli. Save room for the tiramisu, which one parent calls "unreal". Book ahead at weekends, and mention birthdays — they make a proper fuss.
