Phin Vietnamese Coffee
A laid-back Belfast coffee shop serving Vietnamese coffee, well rated by early reviewers and easygoing for a family pause.

Indian · Belfast
Right in the heart of Belfast city centre, this South Indian kitchen turns out portions generous enough that a child can graze off your plate — the dosas, kheema biryani and crispy chicken fry with cashew get the most love, and the starters are arguably the strongest thing on the menu, with Gobi 65 and Paneer 65 arriving hot and properly seasoned. A mango lassi buys you a few quiet minutes. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and buggy access at the door, plus plenty of vegan choices given how much of the cooking is vegetable-led. The team are attentive and good at finding a table even mid-rush, though it does get busy, so book at weekends. One honest snag: the washrooms don't always match the standard of the kitchen. Regulars call it "addictive".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
