Italian · Cirencester
Small, intimate and family-friendly in a way that actually works — there's a kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access and outdoor seating when the weather plays along, plus free parking, which takes one worry off the drive in. Because the room is snug, someone from the team is nearly always within reach, and the owners come across as genuinely glad to see you, even close to closing time. The cooking is the draw: sourdough pizzas that come out crisp rather than chewy, silky pesto pasta, a lasagne one visitor rated the finest they'd had, and desserts made in-house — the tiramisu gets singled out again and again. Do book, and expect a £20 deposit; it fills up even on a Saturday lunchtime, and it gets cosily loud when full.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
