Starters land quickly and mains follow soon after, so nobody's melting down waiting, and even a table of nine got fed without a long gap. Staff stay attentive when it's busy, the atmosphere is calm rather than clattery, and there are high chairs, a kids' menu, vegan options and a few outdoor tables. Worth ordering: the kleftiko, where the lamb falls off the bone, triple-cooked chips seasoned properly, and baklava that isn't cloyingly sweet. Prices are reasonable for Brighton and the toilets are kept clean. Two snags — there's no car park, so you're hunting for a space nearby, and the odd meal comes out overdone, so send it back if it does.
