Sitting alongside the Thames on Riverside Drive, The Duck & Ball is a relaxed pub with a genuinely warm welcome — the wood-fired pizzas come highly recommended, and the open layout flows nicely out to outdoor space that backs onto the riverside, making it a great wind-down after a walk along the water. It's well set up for families, with highchairs, baby changing, and buggy-friendly access throughout, plus a kids' menu to keep little ones happy. There's no soft play, but with a park right next door the little ones are unlikely to sit still for long anyway.
